2025 Performance, Independent School for the City, Rotterdam, NL
Twin was a performance comissioned by Independent School for the City in Rotterdam. The earliest known mirrors, crafted from obsidian, were believed to grant access to the spirit realm—an object of magic and mystery. Today, reflective surfaces are omnipresent: in glass vitrines, towering facades, and the black screens of smartphones. Taking the materiality of the mirror as a starting point, this piece investigates reflection as both a physical and symbolic phenomenon.
